My Rating: 4 stars

My Thoughts:
I was highly skeptical going into this book.  The title was a little raunchy, I wasn't the biggest fan of book 1, and it started off pretty rough for me.  I thought that at the beginning of the book Sierra was super slutty and I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to finish it.  Then it started picking up, Sierra pulled herself together, and we got to know Levi.  Oh how I love Levi.
I thought that Cassie Mae did an amazing job writing all of her characters.  I loved all of them, and I'm so, so excited for book 3 with Adam and Brea.  I think that Levi had to have been my favorite, I especially loved that he gave off such a positive message for not just Sierra, but anyone reading it.  I thought the fact that he was a virgin was great, because I feel too often in YA, the male leads get portrayed as man whores, or reformed man whores, when the reality is, those kinds of guys aren't the majority.
Cassie did a fantastic job portraying realistic high school situations.  The party that Sydney dragged Sierra to, that stuff really happens and I feel that a lot of times that kind of stuff just gets skimmed over because the readers are too young or too immature to be reading about things like that, when they're going through that kind of stuff, and need to be able to read about it to get guidance because there isn't anyone that they're comfortable turning to.
I thing that the main thing I really loved about this book, and about Cassie Mae in general, is that her writing and her stories are so fresh and different, and I know that reading the summary of this, it sounds like any other mainstream contemporary, but it's so much more than that.  I definitely would recommend this to anyone who enjoys YA but particularly to those in high school or going into high school.
